Portable Power Stations for DJI Drones · Malaysia

Charge Drone Batteries in the Field

A DJI Power station charges a DJI battery through SDC — a direct DC port, not a wall socket with an inverter behind it. Air 3 Series battery, 10% to 95%, about 30 minutes1.

Why this is not a socket

Two Ways to Charge, and They Are Not Equal

Through the AC outlet

Any power station can do this. The battery in the station is DC; the inverter turns it into 240 V AC; your DJI charger turns it back into DC. Two conversions, and you pay for both in heat and in time. It works, and it is what a generic power station offers.

Through SDC

A DJI cable runs from the station's SDC port straight to the aircraft or battery. No inverter, no mains charger, no double conversion — DJI's protocol talking to DJI's battery. This is the part a rival power station cannot offer at any price.

Worth being precise: SDC is not a faster socket, it is a different path. If you already own the mains charger and you are not in a hurry, the AC outlet is perfectly good.

One cable per aircraft family

Which Cable Goes With Which Drone

SDC is not one universal lead. DJI ships a separate cable for each aircraft family, and the wrong one simply will not connect.

DJI SDC cables and their warranty periods
SDC fast-charge cables (Matrice 30, Mavic 3, Air 3, Inspire 3)12 months2
SDC to XT60 and car-outlet power cables12 months2
Buy the cable with the station Each aircraft family takes its own SDC cable, and the wrong one will not connect. Tell us which aircraft you fly before you buy the station, so the right cable goes out with it.

SDC ports, per model

How Many Batteries at Once

SDC port count is what decides whether you charge one battery or two while the third is in the air.

SDC ports by DJI Power model
DJI Power 1000 Mini1 × SDCSDC: 9-28 V, max output 300 W; SDC input 9-28 V, max 400 W
DJI Power 1000 V21 × SDC · 1 × SDC LiteSDC: 9-28 V or 32-58.4 V, max 42 A; SDC Lite: 9-27 V, max 10 A. SDC input 32-58.4 V, max 60 A
DJI Power 20002 × SDCSDC 1 and SDC 2: 9-28 V, max 12 A. SDC input 32-58.4 V, max 60 A

SDC Lite is the lower-current port — fine for a small battery, not a substitute for full SDC. The DJI Power 1000 Mini is the light option; the DJI Power 1000 V2 is the one most crews end up with.

Charging a Fleet, Not a Drone

If you are turning batteries around all day on a survey line or a shoot, the question stops being which station and starts being how many, and how they recharge between sites. That is a quote, not a product page.

  1. SDC Super Fast Charging figures as published by DJI for the Power 1000 V2, each measured from 10% to 95% charge under DJI's test conditions. Actual time varies with battery temperature, state of health and ambient conditions.
  2. Warranty periods for SDC cables and chargers read from DJI's published Malaysia after-sales policy on 2026-09-25.
